This Saturday, we had several choir students audition for the JH and HS Oklahoma All state honor choirs. We had 7 HS students audition and 5 made it through. We had 13 MS students audition and 7 made it through. They had to learn pieces in English, French, Latin and German. In the first round of the auditions, the state is divided into four quadrants and they select the top 30 or so scoring students in each voice part from each quadrant to advance to the second and final round of auditions in a few weeks. We have a VERY competitive quadrant with schools like Owasso, Jenks, Broken Arrow, Bartlesville, etc. in our quad. I am so proud of all of the students who auditioned! It takes a lot of after school rehearsals to prepare for these auditions. Congrats to the following students who made it to 2nd round!
