Please join me in congratulating Mia Newman on becoming the schools 17th Oklahoma Academic Scholar. Mia is in the Stallion Battalion Marching Band, Ag, National Honor Society, a class of 2024 Valedictorian, and has amassed over 500 community service hours.
Eligibility Criteria
Currently enrolled Oklahoma public high-school seniors who meet any one of these criteria are eligible to apply.
Composite ACT score of at least 30*
Combined SAT Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math score of at least 1370*
National Merit Scholarship Program semi-finalist
In addition to the minimum criteria, students will be evaluated on their leadership abilities, motivation, academic achievement, and character as maximized within each student’s learning environment.
This is a huge honor as only 100 students are selected in the state each year.
