I wanted to say a huge thank you for the immense amount of support and flexibility OUE parents showed today! We received so many kind and supportive comments, and it means the world to us! Please give your student a big hug tonight because they were absolutely amazing today and rolled with the punches all day long. The OUE staff is so grateful for our incredible students and community! 💙❤️💛
Upper Elementary car rider students will be dismissed from the storm shelter today. Please do not go past the cones in front of the storm shelter when you line up for car rider dismissal. We understand that this may create some congestion with traffic, and we apologize in advance for the inconvenience. Thank you so much for your understanding!
We have gotten questions about how students will get their personal items. We have been allowed to bring kids in for a very short time period one class at a time to get their backpacks and items for tomorrow. They should be bringing everything home. Thank you!
After school tutoring is cancelled for today. Please call Mrs. Austin in the office if you need to change transportation for your student. The number is 918-443-6000, ext. 6041.
The fire department is continuing to investigate and has yet to find any sign of a fire, but to be cautious, we will be remaining at the high school for the rest of the day. We are so grateful for your support and patience today! Thank you so much! 💛💙
Good morning! The fire department has given permission for students to come eat lunch in the cafeteria. We will be eating there and going back to the auditorium. Thank you for your patience during this time!
OUE parents, thank you for your patience while we continue investigating the smell in the building! I assure you that all students are completely safe and relocated to the high school. I will update you as soon as there is more information.
We are still investigating the source of the smell, but we are moving our students indoors at the high school to get them out of the cold. We will keep you updated!
We are going to move our kids back to HS. 3rd go to HS gym and 4/5 go to auditorium. You can use the front doors.
Good morning, OUE parents. Out of an abundance of caution, we have moved our students outside while we investigate a smoky smell in the building. All students are safe and accounted for. We will keep in contact as we learn more. Thank you!
We can’t wait to welcome our students back from Spring Break tomorrow morning! As a reminder, chocolate bar money is due tomorrow as well. Thank you so much for your support! 💙💛
Out of an abundance of caution for the expected inclement weather, tomorrow will be a distance learning day for OTPS. OUE students will not be bringing home Chromebooks, and all work will be done on paper. Teachers will be available all day via Remind, Zoom and email. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact your student’s teacher or Mrs. Adkins at email@example.com. Thank you!
Good afternoon! Our order of chocolate bars has still not arrived from the company. We were able to pick up 40 boxes this afternoon and will be distributing those to students who have prepaid or who haven’t received a box yet. We will get boxes for everyone else (as many as you would like) when our order comes in next week. It may be Tuesday. We will be extending the deadline until after Spring Break. I am so sorry for the delay and we thank you for your support!
