Student Activities Scholastic Eligibility

It is the policy of the Oologah-Talala Board of Education that only those students who are fully eligible scholastically will be permitted to represent the school in any capacity. Teachers will submit eligibility lists to the office each Friday. If a student is failing in more than one core subject, the student may not participate in any school activity during the following week. The board declares its intent to rigorously adhere to the eligibility rules of the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association. The superintendent is directed to establish a regulation governing eligibility. Such regulation, when approved by the board, shall be incorporated into this policy and become a part thereof.

Note: In compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, under no circumstances should student eligibility or ineligibility lists be publicly posted in any manner.
