Student Activities Social Affairs

The Oologah-Talala Board of Education believes that students benefit from social activities sponsored and supervised by the school staff. Therefore, activities such as the annual junior-senior banquet, school dance, and an annual class party are permitted but may not be held in or on school facilities. The board restricts the number of class dances to three in any one year. There must be at least three sets of parents and/or sponsors present at each dance.

Only social activities such as dinners may be scheduled on Sundays. Ball practices, play practice, and other similar student activities shall not be scheduled on Sunday.
