Important: Need to Know
Policy development is a continuous process. Please be aware that the most current and legally binding policies are maintained in the official paper copies at the District Administration Office. This digital version is provided for convenience.
The manual is categorized using the OSSBA classification system (A-G), where each major section (e.g., D for Personnel, F for Students) is further divided using alphabetical subcodes (e.g., FM for Student Activities). Policies are principles set by the Board; Regulations are detailed directions from the administration to execute them. All Board policies must comply with Federal and Oklahoma Statutes, which always prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
- All policies are subject to change based on new state or federal regulations.
- The District Policy Manual is regularly reviewed and approved by the Oologah-Talala Board of Education.
- For specific legal questions, refer to the policy code number and contact the District Clerk.
